Position Overview
We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Category Management & Trade Marketing Lead at The Kraft Heinz Company. This role is based in Düsseldorf, Germany, and offers a chance to work within a dedicated team that strives for excellence.
In this pivotal position, you will engage with senior internal stakeholders and be responsible for harmonizing our category marketing approach with retailer strategies. Your role will involve transforming brand and innovation initiatives into compelling sell-in narratives, serving as a crucial liaison to our retail sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing a team comprising 3 Category Management professionals, 1 Trade Marketing expert, and 1 intern Crafting the retail channel and customer strategy in alignment with marketing objectives and consumer needs Evaluating market data to identify risks and opportunities for each account Developing sell-in support materials to engage Kraft Heinz sales teams and customers regarding category initiatives Acting as consultants on significant category projects, including range assessments and strategic planning Formulating an annual trade marketing strategy and spearheading all related shopper activations across various categories and customersRequired Qualifications
A university degree in Management or Economics A minimum of 5 years of experience in Category Management, Trade, or Shopper Marketing within the FMCG industry Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing team members Strong proficiency in software tools (Gfk SimIT, Circana) Fluency in both German and English is essentialProfessional Attributes
