Category Management Specialist

Position Overview
We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Category Management & Trade Marketing Lead at The Kraft Heinz Company. This role is pivotal in driving our category marketing initiatives and aligning them with retailer strategies.
In this position, you will engage with senior internal stakeholders and play a crucial role in translating brand and innovation strategies into compelling sell-in narratives. You will serve as a key liaison for our retail sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a team comprising 3 Category Management experts, 1 Trade Marketing specialist, and 1 intern.
- Develop the retail channel and customer strategy in accordance with marketing objectives and consumer insights.
- Conduct market analysis to identify risks and opportunities across various accounts.
- Produce sell-in support materials to engage sales teams and customers with category initiatives.
- Provide consultancy on significant category projects, including range assessments and strategic planning.
- Formulate an annual trade marketing strategy and spearhead shopper activations across all categories and customer segments.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Management or Economics.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Category Management, Trade, or Shopper Marketing within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Gfk SimIT, Circana).
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
