Sourcing Manager

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing our supplier base, identifying new suppliers, and performing the pre-qualification process to ensure that they meet our procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage existing supplier base and identify new suppliers
- Perform pre-qualification process to ensure suppliers meet Exyte's procurement standards
- Lead the RFP process, including compilation of requirements documentation and internal alignment
- Prepare initial commercial bid evaluation and liaise with internal stakeholders
- Lead and drive the contract clarification and negotiation process
- Prepare final commercial bid evaluation and present recommendation to award
- Coordinate purchase order placement and ensure transition of sourcing knowledge and information
- Successful completion of a degree in business administration or engineering
- Advanced experience in large-scale construction and engineering projects
- Purchasing experience in technical plant engineering, ideally in the field of semiconductors/battery production/pharmaceuticals
- High level of commercial awareness
- Fluent level in spoken and written German (at least B2) and good knowledge of English
- Experience in working with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP
- Challenging projects in customized, large-scale technological projects in engineering and construction
