About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our supplier base, identifying new suppliers, and performing pre-qualification processes to ensure they meet our procurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing supplier relationships, identify new suppliers, and conduct pre-qualification processes to ensure suppliers meet Exyte's procurement standards.
  • Lead the RFP process, including requirements documentation, internal alignment, and supplier guidance for timely and high-quality returns.
  • Prepare initial commercial bid evaluations and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and competitiveness of suppliers.
  • Lead contract clarification and negotiation processes, involving suppliers and internal/external stakeholders, to ensure project schedule compliance.
  • Prepare final commercial bid evaluations, liaise with internal stakeholders, and present recommendations for award to gain approval.
  • Coordinate purchase order placement and ensure knowledge transition to post-award procurement and subcontracting teams.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration or engineering.
  • Advanced experience in large-scale construction and engineering projects.
  • Purchasing experience in technical plant engineering, preferably in semiconductors, battery production, or pharmaceuticals.
  • High commercial awareness to guide day-to-day work.
  • Fluent German (B2 level) and good English language skills.
  • Experience with MS Office and SAP (benefit).
