About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing complex and high-value work packages from RFx to contract placement. Your expertise will be essential in identifying new suppliers, pre-qualifying them, and ensuring they meet Exyte's procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the existing supplier base and identify new suppliers to meet Exyte's procurement needs.
- Lead the RFP process, including requirements documentation, internal alignment, and supplier guidance.
- Prepare commercial bid evaluations and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Lead contract clarification and negotiation processes, involving suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare final commercial bid evaluations and present recommendations for contract award.
- Coordinate purchase order placement and ensure knowledge transfer to the post-award procurement team.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or engineering.
- Advanced experience in large-scale construction and engineering projects.
- Purchasing experience in technical plant engineering, preferably in semiconductors, battery production, or pharmaceuticals.
- High commercial awareness and ability to guide day-to-day work.
- Fluent German (B2 level) and good English language skills.
- Experience with MS Office and SAP (benefit).
