Join Amazon as a Supply Chain Manager

At Amazon, we are continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance our global operations. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing and optimizing our processes. You will spearhead the design and implementation of new initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee existing programs and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Initiating programs, tracking performance metrics, and providing updates on key objectives impacting deliverables.
  • Analyzing data to identify operational challenges and develop continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborating with various Amazon departments to identify and implement best practices.
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team within a program environment to address challenges and drive progress.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and internal processes while establishing standards.

A Day in Your Role:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and enhancing initiatives that ensure the seamless operation of our logistics.

You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of Amazon colleagues to gain insights into their workflows, sharing your expertise while learning from theirs. Together, you will uncover exciting new opportunities and take charge of their implementation.

You will motivate and support your teams and colleagues to achieve significant objectives while proactively seeking data-driven methods for improvement. Your contributions will be vital to your team's overall success.

About the Team:

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is crucial to our operational efficiency. By joining ATS, you will become part of a diverse group that plays a central role in our achievements.

Utilizing air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, you will help ensure Amazon's logistics operate at peak efficiency. Our team harnesses data to inform decisions, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs or projects using project management methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced or master's degree.
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience in an operational environment or with technical teams.
