Logistics Compliance Manager
Amazon Deutschland Transport GmbH is seeking a skilled professional to manage risk in a fast-growing global logistics environment.
We are looking for an individual with expertise in operations and internal controls to address various risk areas such as compliance, process improvement, technology, legal matters, and program management.
In this role, you will lead a team to analyze the risk landscapes of Amazon's logistics and transportation businesses.
You will collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to enhance compliance programs, including conducting risk assessments, designing governance programs, and assessing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate regulatory and compliance risks related to third-party carriers
- Assess compliance of new and existing third-party carriers, investigate suspicious activity
- Conduct cross-functional risk and control assessments aligned with company strategy
- Support the implementation of business requirements, controls, and process improvements
- Travel up to 20% of the time on short notice
- Proficiency in German language is mandatory
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Audit, Risk, or Compliance experience in transportation or logistics
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Data analysis skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in transportation or supply chain industry
- Background in risk mitigation, fraud, compliance, or internal controls
- Project management experience
- Certification in risk, audit, or compliance fields
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
