Acolad, the global leader in content and language solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join their Life Sciences division in Germany. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development and growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Discover, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and customer groups, with a focus on strategic, global, and enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Screen and Evaluate Potential Deals: Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, and financials to identify potential business deals.
  • Develop and Execute Negotiation Strategies: Collaborate with senior decision-makers to develop negotiation strategies that align with customers' needs and goals.
  • Sell Products and Solutions: Develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions that meet their needs.
  • Closing New Business Deals: Align requirements with solutions, develop and negotiate contracts with decision-makers, and integrate contract requirements with business operations.
  • Lead Strategic Development and Execution: Lead the strategic development and execution of won and/or assigned new and ramping accounts.
  • Build Market Position: Locate, develop, define, and build business relationships through industry networking, participation in industry events, and other required public engagement.
  • Develop Deep Understanding of Prospects' Business Goals: Develop a deep understanding of prospects' business goals, competition, growth plans, and obstacles.
  • Position Acolad Solutions and Services: Position all Acolad solutions and services with the help of product specialists.
  • Implement Sales and Pipeline Building Market Strategies: Implement sales and pipeline building market strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Manage On-Going Pipeline of Revenue and Activity: Manage an on-going pipeline of revenue and activity to ensure continued growth and success.
  • Assist with RFP/Tender/Proposal: Assist with RFP/Tender/Proposal development and submission.
  • Develop Sales Skills and Market/ Business Knowledge: Proactively develop sales skills and market/business knowledge, apply best practice techniques and tools to maximize performance, and share this with Business Development team colleagues.
  • Achieve Budgets, Targets, and Activity Levels: Achieve budgets, targets, activity levels, as agreed with the General Manager and Head of Sales.
  • Provide Detailed and Accurate Sales Forecasting/Budgeting: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting/budgeting for personal new business pipeline.
Requirements
  • 5-7 Years of Proven Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in new logo acquisition, business development, and reaching sales quota.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business management, economics, financial, or marketing.
