Harnham is partnering with a growing German business to find a Research Director who will play a key role in delivering and selling market research. With ambitious growth plans, you will dive into diverse projects to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead various market research studies, primarily ad hoc, from start to finish.
- Develop materials, analyze data, report findings, and present to clients.
- Collaborate with the Operations team for survey programming, fieldwork, and data analysis.
- Monitor financial aspects of projects, ensuring they are cost-effective and profitable.
- Manage end-to-end business development from cold lead generation through to debriefing clients.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, understanding their business issues and how we can help.
- Collaborate with the Research team and other departments to maintain the new business pipeline.
- Promote the company's capabilities to new and existing clients.
- Prepare proposals based on client needs.
Requirements:
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
- Native fluency in the German language.
- Proven track record in selling market research services, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of the German pharmaceutical market.
- Ability to understand and address customer needs.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Experience with various research methodologies.
- Outstanding communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Ideal commercial network within the pharmaceutical industry.
