Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Senior Expert to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex mechanical parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage overall activities for clean launch and stable delivery of complex mechanical parts.
- Develop and implement supplier development milestones and schedules in accordance with APQP procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier development.
- Support the PPAP team in obtaining timely approvals.
- Study and implement valuable solutions in case of non-conformance or supplier requests.
- Participate in supplier development and performance evaluation.
- Document lessons learned and reflect them into written procedures.
- Active role in VAVE activities and design to cost at program award stage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, Parts Production Engineering, Quality Assurance, and/or Purchasing in the automotive industry.
- Experience in processing technologies such as high precision plastic molding and diecast, APQP knowledge.
- Experience in DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Ability to understand technical contents, development risks, and countermeasures to plan reasonable milestones and launch.
- Ability to review customer requirements, system design structure, parts design, and production engineering.
- Problem-solving skills and intercultural competencies.
- Willingness to travel.
