Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expert for Complex Mechanical Parts to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for complex mechanical parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage overall activities for clean launch and stable delivery of complex mechanical parts
  • Develop and implement supplier development milestones and schedules in collaboration with engineering and suppliers
  • Utilize expertise in processing technologies to review and verify parts design and production process, identifying risks and countermeasures
  • Support PPAP team for timely approvals and participate in supplier development and performance evaluation
  • Document lessons learned and reflect them into written procedures
  • Active role in VAVE activities and design to cost at program award stage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering
  • Years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, Parts Production Engineering, Quality Assurance, and/or Purchasing in the automotive industry
  • Experience in processing technologies such as high precision plastic molding and diecast, APQP knowledge
  • Experience in DFMEA and PFMEA
  • Ability to understand technical contents, development risks, and countermeasures to plan reasonable milestones and launch
  • Problem-solving skills and intercultural competencies
  • Willingness to travel
