We are in search of a Food Safety Quality Assurance Lead for our latest initiative: Factor, a nutritious, ready-to-heat meal delivery service. We seek a driven and dynamic food quality expert to become an integral part of our team. This role will involve collaborating closely with our Operations, Category, Product Management, and Customer Care teams, taking charge of our Ready-to-Eat (RTE) and Ready-to-Heat (RTH) division, establishing and executing standards, and managing new initiatives to elevate our Food Safety Culture to its peak.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and enforce local food safety and quality assurance standards, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements.
- Assume overall responsibility for the design and execution of food safety and quality assurance protocols for RTE products.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop our kitchen FSQA team, ensuring clear succession pathways across various roles.
- Foster and continuously enhance a robust culture within the kitchen operations team that prioritizes employee safety, engagement, and accountability for exceptional performance.
- Collaborate with the Operations team on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with food safety, quality, and cultural standards.
- Develop and implement food safety procedures and training programs addressing core risks across the organization, ensuring compliance with Factor and local regulations.
- Champion food safety culture, enhancing engagement and understanding of the subject.
- Assist in the implementation of consistent intake food safety and quality assessments.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on system enhancements to further improve our quality management and traceability frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and facilitate the sharing of information and best practices across different regions.
- Monitor all quality metrics for trends and themes, identifying opportunities for enhancement and devising solutions within the distribution center and customer delivery segments of the supply chain.
- Work alongside the Operations team to achieve key performance indicators.
- Assess key risks and establish proactive strategies for mitigation.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within Food Manufacturing, Assembly, Chemical, or Consumer Products (minimum of 5 years).
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP principles, German Food Safety Regulations, and GFSI standards.
- Experience in a start-up environment, adaptable to shifting priorities, showcasing an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficiency in Internal and External Audits.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and a flexible, can-do attitude.
