About the Role:
HelloFresh is a leading food delivery company that aims to change the way people eat. As a Production Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the culture and leading the daily activities of a high-volume prep, process, and assemble fulfillment center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Leader in the implementation of strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain high standards for execution to meet all key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, while supporting your team in achieving daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals.
- Ensure effective communication of company goals and priorities to the Production Center team, including leading regular meetings to engage and inspire a diverse and growing workforce.
- Drive continuous improvement in areas such as safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees in the Production Center.
- Provide timely feedback to direct and indirect reports.
- Drive positive change within the facility and adapt to the ever-changing business needs.
- Actively listen and accept feedback, share ideas, and identify concerns, while communicating and holding operators accountable to the Factor brand, KPIs, and culture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial kitchen or production operations center, preferably in food service or food production.
- Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a start-up environment, comfortable with changing priorities, and showing an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, develop, and manage a large team, with a focus on driving company culture.
- Interest in spending most of your time on the shop floor and working directly with all levels of staff.
- Knowledge of or background in Lean and Agile Production, Food Manufacturing, Food Safety & Quality, and Fulfillment is preferred.
- Familiarity with FSMA, HACCP, SQF, CFIA standards is beneficial.
- You speak English and German at a business level.
