The Production Lead is pivotal in fostering a positive culture and overseeing daily operations within a high-volume preparation, processing, and assembly fulfillment center. Collaborating closely with our Operations Associate Director, you will manage the production of an innovative product line. Your responsibilities will encompass daily operational logistics, cultivating a supportive workplace atmosphere for a diverse team, mentoring leadership personnel, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence significant projects for Factor and make impactful decisions that resonate throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Leader in implementing strategic initiatives.
• Establish high standards for execution to achieve all KPIs and financial targets while guiding your team towards daily, weekly, monthly, and annual objectives.
• Ensure effective communication of company goals and priorities to the Production Centre team, including leading monthly meetings to engage and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Champion continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages all employees within the Production Centre.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to direct and indirect reports.
• Drive positive transformations within the facility.
• Adapt to the dynamic business landscape and ensure team flexibility.
• Actively listen and embrace feedback; share insights and identify concerns; communicate expectations and hold team members accountable to the Factor brand, KPIs, and culture.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in an industrial kitchen or production operations center, preferably within the food service or food production sectors.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in a start-up environment, demonstrating adaptability to changing priorities and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven ability to effectively motivate, develop, and manage a large team, with a strong emphasis on culture as a cornerstone of success.
• Willingness to spend significant time on the shop floor, engaging with all levels of staff.
• Knowledge of Lean and Agile Production methodologies, Food Manufacturing, Food Safety & Quality, and Fulfillment is preferred.
• Familiarity with FSMA, HACCP, SQF, and CFIA standards is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English and German at a business level.
