Registered Nurse for Pediatric Intensive Care

Bärenfamilie GmbH provides specialized non-clinical nursing services for critically ill children and adolescents, ranging from infants to 18 years old. Our dedicated care is delivered in both stationary facilities and home environments. With a focus on optimal staffing ratios and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, we strive to cater to the unique needs of our young patients.
We are currently seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse (m/f/d) to join our compassionate team in Heppenheim.
Your Qualifications- You are a qualified registered nurse (m/f/d) with a background in pediatrics or intensive care nursing.
If you lack experience in pediatrics or non-clinical intensive care, we offer the Basic Course for Registered Nurses (m/f/d) in Non-Clinical Ventilation/Pediatrics within your first six months of employment.
Your Duties- Providing essential and therapeutic care (including oxygen and medication administration, injections, suctioning, PEG care, inhalation therapy, and monitoring)
- Maintaining nursing documentation
- Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
- Engaging in communication with family members
- Managing emergency situations
- Compensation aligned with collective bargaining agreements, including allowances and annual bonuses
- Work hours structured in a three-shift system (other arrangements possible)
- Favorable staffing ratios ensuring ample time for patient care and self-care
- Flexibility in work schedule creation based on personal priorities
- Customized training programs with individual support
