Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Dialysis Team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Conduct ongoing education and training for patients and their families on dialysis treatment and related health issues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and mentor Patient Care Technicians and other nursing staff as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis.
- Experience in nephrology nursing.
- Knowledge of hemodialysis treatment modalities and related equipment.
