JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in a pivotal sales position focused on the Managed Service Provider (MSP) sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales management and execution within the MSP business segment.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans in collaboration with Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Commvault's Partner Ecosystem, including Alliances and Partners, to enhance business growth.
  • Utilize cross-functional influence and project management skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and technical teams.
  • Organize and execute effective business development strategies.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new MSP agreements within designated accounts, generating new and recurring revenue.
  • Formulate and drive go-to-market strategies aimed at expanding MSP revenue through various channels and partnerships.
  • Work closely with field and channel resources to promote MSP services to potential and existing clients.
  • Clearly communicate Commvault's value proposition to both business and technical audiences within MSPs.
  • Coordinate joint sales efforts with senior engineers and manage relationships to gather business requirements and develop necessary capabilities.
  • Engage in executive-level discussions regarding sales metrics and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven track record in developing new business within an established company framework.
  • Experience in creating and executing go-to-market strategies for revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results through collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of technology and the ability to convey its value to prospects and partners, particularly in data management and cloud services.
  • Successful history of achieving revenue targets and managing forecasting processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of business fundamentals and go-to-market strategies for service providers.
  • Proficiency in the German language is required.
