Position: Technical Development Engineer (m/f/x)Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with major clients throughout Europe and occasionally in Asia, collaborating closely with the sales department, involving a minimum of 20% travel.
  • Discover and assess new client prospects, initiate and oversee technical projects in partnership with sales and application development, and deliver pertinent reports.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with current and prospective clients at a technical level.
  • Assist the sales team in addressing intricate technical inquiries, support laboratory investigations, and actively engage in marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate efforts among clients, sales, and application development teams.
  • Encourage partnerships with industry and academic institutions to foster innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training.
  • A minimum of five years of pertinent experience in the sector.
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, team-oriented, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly, with proficiency in modern presentation techniques.
  • Customer-focused, empathetic, and responsive to client requirements.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and occasionally to Asia.
  • Fluency in German and English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as household cleaning, plastics & polymers, chemicals, and coatings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
