Role Overview: In this position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing software solution products and serve as a key resource for information and knowledge management across the organization.

To address the intricate demands of grid expansion and management, our teams require effective and user-friendly knowledge and information management systems. You will be instrumental as an expert within a product team and liaise with various internal stakeholders to facilitate a critical transformation process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining functional and technical specifications for software solutions with an emphasis on information and knowledge management.
  • Conducting market research and fit-gap analyses.
  • Integrating user requirements through configuration or coordination of configurations.
  • Providing ongoing support for the integration of software into the application and system landscape.
  • Assisting testers in the preparation, execution, and evaluation of test scenarios as needed.
  • Ensuring operational efficiency and software maintenance in collaboration with the product team.
  • Supporting the product owner in license negotiations, defining service level agreements (SLAs), and managing suppliers.
  • Initiating and participating in the continuous development and enhancement of software solutions.
  • Assisting the product owner with IT cost assessments and advising on team composition.
  • Advising users on information and knowledge management, including industry-standard best practices.
  • Consulting with key users and departments on document management topics such as archiving, metadata, and legal considerations.
  • Implementing knowledge management tools and methodologies, focusing on promoting a 'learning organization'.

Your qualifications:

  • A university degree in business informatics, computer science, knowledge management, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in planning, developing, operating, and enhancing applications or software systems (both standard and custom).
  • At least 3 years of experience with and current knowledge of tools for information, knowledge, and document management, such as MS SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence, or similar, along with proficient use of MS O365 standard software.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally.
  • Language proficiency: Excellent command of German and English (both at least C1 level).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in IT provider management and IT operations management is advantageous, as well as familiarity with ITIL-based service management.
