About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Procurement Consulting & Supplier Solutions DACH to join our team at HRS Group. As a key member of our procurement leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pioneering Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and drives excellence and innovation in procurement practices.
  • Orchestrating the Supplier Ecosystem: Define and implement a supplier strategy that fosters strong relationships with key suppliers and ensures a competitive and sustainable procurement landscape.
  • Convergence Catalyst: Lead the convergence of disparate procurement segments, including transient, extended stay, groups, and small meetings, to reduce complexity and increase buying power.
  • Elevating Traveler Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the traveler experience for HRS' participating supply partners, showcasing the superior value proposition and establishing HRS as a strategic partner of choice for the business travel segment.
  • Market Ambassador: Represent HRS on industry, customer, and supplier events, promoting the company's procurement practice and hospitality supplier ecosystem in the DACH region.
  • Selling Personality: Support the DACH market in defining the go-to-market strategy and develop promotion strategies to support HRS procurement's awareness and be the executive sponsor of strategic accounts and hunting activities.
  • Collaborative Innovation Engine: Enhance the current way of working by piloting new procurement concepts, such as AI-based persona segmentation and attribute-based-buying.
  • End-to-end View: Bridge the customer and supplier perspective, driving the procurement and supplier solutions team to maximize impact.
Requirements
  • A successfully completed university degree, preferably in business administration.
  • + years of experience in leading project management in a management or procurement consultancy with a focus on travel segments (Hospitality preferred).
  • Dexterity to understand and manage complex ecosystems and to develop strong relationships with customers as well as suppliers.
  • Proven ability to build a strong network in an industry, preferably an existing network in the German hospitality market.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with a record of accomplishment of inspiring and motivating others to achieve results that exceed what was believed to be possible.
  • Unparalleled interpersonal and communications skills to inspire prospects and to help vocalize and pitch the HRS value proposition to the market.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and understanding customer situations by interpreting data and identifying trends – and linking to your employer's solutions.
  • The ability to keep up with a fast-paced internal environment where products and solutions evolve quickly and need to be accurately integrated into customer journeys as the solutions evolve.
  • Talented at understanding complex interdependencies, implementing relevant metrics to steer the desired outcome and to derive initiatives to improve those metrics across the HRS ProcureTech ecosystem.
  • Fluency in German and English, spoken and written.
