ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Procurement Consulting & Supplier Solutions DACH (all genders) who will play a crucial role in shaping our consulting and procurement strategies, influencing the future of the industry. This position serves as a vital link between customer needs and supplier capabilities, collaborating closely with the sales organization for business development and service delivery. The successful candidate will lead a team of strategic consultants, analysts, and supplier account managers, working in conjunction with global procurement consulting and supplier solution teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Vice President of Procurement Consulting and Supplier Solutions, you will:
Develop Innovative Procurement Strategies: Design and implement groundbreaking procurement strategies for clients, focusing on excellence and innovation while fostering industry expertise in the DACH market. Manage Supplier Ecosystem: Define and enhance HRS's supplier strategy, cultivating relationships within the local hospitality market and effectively communicating HRS's value proposition. Drive Convergence Initiatives: Lead efforts to integrate various segments – transient, extended stay, groups, and small meetings – to simplify processes and enhance purchasing power. Enhance Traveler Experience: Elevate the traveler experience for HRS's supply partners by showcasing superior value propositions and establishing HRS as a preferred partner in the business travel sector. Represent HRS in the Market: Act as the public face of HRS's procurement practice, representing the organization at industry events and engaging with customers and suppliers. Support Market Strategy: Assist in defining go-to-market strategies and promotional efforts to enhance awareness of HRS procurement services, serving as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts. Foster Collaborative Innovation: Enhance operational methodologies by piloting new procurement concepts, including AI-driven persona segmentation and attribute-based buying. Maintain Comprehensive Oversight: Integrate customer and supplier perspectives to drive the procurement and supplier solutions team towards maximizing impact.QUALIFICATIONS
A completed university degree, preferably an MBA in business administration. Over 10 years of experience in project management within management or procurement consulting, particularly in travel sectors (hospitality preferred). Ability to navigate and manage complex ecosystems while building strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Proven capability to establish a robust network within the industry, ideally with existing connections in the German hospitality market. Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of inspiring teams to achieve outstanding results. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating and promoting the HRS value proposition effectively. Proficiency in analyzing customer situations, interpreting data, and identifying trends to align with organizational solutions. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment where products and solutions evolve rapidly, requiring seamless integration into customer journeys. Skilled in understanding complex interdependencies and implementing metrics to drive desired outcomes within the HRS ProcureTech ecosystem. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The competitive compensation package includes a fixed monthly salary, necessary work equipment, mobility options, and an annual or multi-year bonus.
