About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our team at Siemens AG. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving sales processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand business needs and requirements related to sales processes and performance, and provide data-driven support
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including sales managers and executives, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Provide recommendations and insights to improve sales processes, pricing strategies, and customer targeting, based on data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, and product owners, to implement sales-focused data solutions
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and user interviews to gather business needs and translate them into functional requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team as a subject matter expert in sales analytics
Requirements
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of sales processes and dynamics
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a similar qualification paired with 5-7 years of experience in IT
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
  • Experience working with sales data and CRM systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
