About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Account Management team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers who are responsible for welcoming customers onto our platform and understanding their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall pipeline of new and existing customers joining the platform.
- Collaborate with the Head of Direct Sales to ensure a smooth handover process from deal to partnership.
- Refine and optimize current processes, including tools used to connect and maintain customer relationships.
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Account Managers.
- Develop each team member to increase adoption of the platform and payments across existing customers.
- Ensure clear communications between the sales team and collaborate to ensure setup checklists are completed and customers are handed over properly.
- Grow the customer base through up- and cross-selling opportunities by analyzing market opportunities and developing the team to provide solutions to the existing customer base.
- Ensure the team exceeds its monthly MRR and KPI targets.
Additional Responsibilities
- Analyze sales forecasts, call volume, and pipelines for the overall team and individuals.
- Develop and hire team members for current and future opportunities.
- Listen to calls and demonstrations and provide feedback to the team.
- Create new strategies to help grow revenue streams for the Account Management team.
- Manage high-level deals with large organizations and well-known brands.
Requirements
- Experience in selling in a SaaS environment.
- Prior experience as an Account Manager with a track record of success.
- Prior experience working in/with restaurants is a plus.
