Inside Sales Representative Job Description

At IFS, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Reach out to potential mid-sized customers in the DACH region to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Qualify and Develop Leads: Qualify leads and develop sales opportunities via phone, email, and other digital channels.
  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Proactively support and consult prospects from initial contact to contract closing.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate closely with the field sales and account management teams to align on customer acquisition strategies.
  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct online demos and product presentations of our EAM solution.
  • Lead-Generation Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing team to implement lead-generation campaigns.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of contacts and activities in the CRM system and report on sales progress regularly.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve individual and team sales and acquisition targets.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Sales: Experience in sales, preferably in B2B SaaS, ideally in EAM, ERP, or related software solutions.
  • SaaS Sales Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SaaS sales processes, especially in selling to mid-sized companies.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Technical Product Knowledge: Ability to explain complex technical products clearly and identify customer needs.
  • Self-Motivation and Organization: Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • CRM Tools: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
