Position Title: Business Development Manager

Position Summary: We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth strategies at our financial planning startup catering to expatriates in Germany. This essential role entails designing and implementing strategies to broaden our client portfolio, establishing strategic alliances, and driving revenue enhancement. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the financial planning sector and a demonstrated history of success in business development. As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and other key personnel to fulfill our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and manage our social media lead generation systems to maintain a consistent influx of qualified leads.
  • Assess and prioritize leads to ensure the sales team concentrates on high-value clients within our target demographic.
  • Organize and conduct online webinars to inform potential clients about our offerings and generate leads.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key introducers, including partners, affiliates, and industry influencers.
  • Direct the formulation and execution of our B2B strategies to create and sustain partnerships with SMEs.
  • Identify and apply strategies to improve cross-selling opportunities within our existing client base.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure alignment of business development strategies with sales objectives.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team to improve their effectiveness in converting leads into clients.
  • Regularly report on progress, challenges, and achievements to the Managing Director and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish connections.

Reporting Structure: The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

Work Environment: This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within Germany.

Working Conditions: The Business Development Manager role is a freelance position (with potential employment after 12 months) requiring a commitment of at least 35 hours per week. Travel may be necessary for team meetings and client events to support business development efforts and cultivate strong client relationships.

Compensation Structure: The remuneration is performance-based and will depend on the level of skill and effort applied to the role. You will benefit from the growth of the business as there is no cap on earning potential.
