Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Delivery Hero. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of consistent, knowledgeable, and professional services in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, long-term sick leave, etc.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to People Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders on reorganization and restructuring activity in line with local employment practices and employment law.
- Training and Education: Support the curation and delivery of relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and help drive better ER decisions.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with business leaders and our People Partner team (HRBPs) to sustain positive employee relations practices.
- Risk Management: Foster strong working relationships with our Employment Legal team, compliance, and investigations teams to balance risk and assist in calibrating recommendations for decision-making.
- Consultation and Documentation: Prepare information, and documentation and assist in the consultation of works councils to advise on business decisions.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in HRBP (preferred) or other People roles (i.e. HR Support, Employee Relations, People Analytics, etc.)
- Education: Bachelor's degree, ideally focusing on HR, employment law, or something similar
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; German is a big plus
- Negotiation Experience: Experience in negotiations with the Workers Council from an HR perspective
- Soft Skills: Highly passionate about creative problem-solving and have excellent interpersonal skills and communication with an eye for detail
- Structured Thinking: A structured thinker with experience in program/project management
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to connect at all levels of an organization and foster positive collaborative environments and relationships
