The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the practice, driving growth and delivering exceptional results.
About the Role:
- Develop a Vision: Create a compelling vision for the practice, focusing on delivering best-in-class services across the entire data analytics, GenAI, and AI spectrum.
- Strategy and Delivery: Develop a strategy for service delivery, leveraging a complex matrix to ensure a profitable delivery model and drive tangible impact for clients.
- Collaborations and Partnerships: Establish collaborations with key internal and external partners to delight clients as measured by NPS metrics.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team that shares the values of the vision and implementation strategy.
- Brand Development: Develop a distinct brand for the practice and lead its external and internal promotion from strategy to delivery.
- Financial Management: Manage the practice's P&L, steered by profitable pricing models, effective cost management, asset planning, and empirically based forecasting.
- Data Governance: Ensure all services meet internal and external data governance policies, considering varying geographic regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Embrace a continuous improvement ethos and contribute to the overall firm strategy as a key senior leadership team member.
Requirements:
- Deep Background: A deep background in developing and delivering analytics, GenAI, AI, and data services on an enterprise scale.
- Leadership Experience: Long leadership experience of IT consulting and/or service delivery teams, including international enterprise clients and commercial negotiations.
- CXO Stakeholder Experience: A long track record of working directly with CXO stakeholders in the promotion and selling of services.
- Strategic Thinking: Obvious strength in strategic thinking and a proven track record of bringing ideas to commercial success.
- New Practice Development: Experience of building a new practice or centre of excellence from scratch.
- Senior Level Influence: Evidence of positive senior level influence and contribution to wider group activities.
- Academic Achievement: Very high academic achievement in relevant subjects.

Starbuck James Ltd operates a hybrid working system, with several days spent in the Munich office each month. The successful candidate must be permanently resident in Germany and have full and current eligibility to work in the EU without sponsorship. Occasional overseas travel will be expected from a global role.
