About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Manager to lead our Food Ingredients Distribution team in Germany. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients, analyzing market trends, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Commercial and Product Strategies: Create and implement effective strategies for specified ingredients, including market analysis and product range optimization.
  • Market Analysis and Product Range Optimization: Analyze market trends and product ranges to identify new opportunities and optimize our offerings.
  • Supplier and Customer Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and customers to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Manage projects in close cooperation with a dedicated Customer Service Manager to ensure successful project execution.
  • Sales Strategy Alignment: Align sales strategies for suppliers' product groups under the supervision of Product Managers and Country Managers.
  • Market Strategy, Purchasing, and Selling: Develop and execute market strategies, purchasing, and selling of assigned product groups in Germany.
  • Training and Development: Participate in numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology: Must have a degree in Food Technology.
  • Technical Problem-Solving and Food Product Development: Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
  • Communication, Negotiation, and Analytical Skills: Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Travel and Organization: High willingness to travel and very organized, reliable, and positive thinking.
  • Language Skills: Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written).
  • Driving License: Must have a valid driving license.
