Country Manager Food Ingredients Distribution

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Manager to lead our Food Ingredients Distribution team in Germany. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients, analyzing market trends, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients
  • Analyze market trends and product ranges of suppliers to identify new opportunities
  • Create strong relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Visit customers to understand their needs and create value propositions
  • Participate in production trials and implement small-scale trials in the application kitchen
  • Project manage in close cooperation with the Customer Service Manager
  • Align sales strategies for suppliers' product groups under the supervision of Product Managers and Country Managers
  • Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Germany
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written)
