Information Security Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team at Eurex Repo GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our 1st Line of Defense activities, ensuring the security and compliance of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information security strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Eurex Group and Deutsche Börse Group to ensure effective information security practices.
- Monitor and report on information security posture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Support the Eurex Repo Management Board in information security risk handling and decision-making.
- Coordinate IT application portfolio and classification processes to ensure alignment with information security requirements.
- Perform the IDP Coordinator role, managing activities related to individual data processing processes.
Requirements
- University degree or comparable qualification in Information Technology and/or Information Security.
- Work experience in Information Security and Information Technology, preferably in the financial industry.
- Good understanding of the regulatory landscape and ability to fulfill these requirements from an Information Security perspective.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, self-organization, flexibility, and self-motivation.
- Good planning, prioritization, and tracking skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; good German language skills will be an important asset.
