Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Integrated Logistic Support (f/m/d) within the "Integrated Logistic Support & In-Service Support Optronics (ILS/ISS)" department, part of our "Customer Services" division. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational readiness of HENSOLDT products and providing ongoing customer support. Our department is responsible for establishing the logistical framework necessary for a successful service operation during the ILS phase, and for delivering services and spare parts during the In-Service Support phase, thereby maximizing the availability of our customers' optronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Integrated Logistic Support projects for optoelectronic systems utilized in military ground and aerial vehicles.
  • Ensure the establishment of supply capabilities for interconnected sensor solutions.
  • Act as a liaison for service-related matters within the integrated project team, collaborating closely with the in-service support team.
  • Provide technical leadership to interdisciplinary project teams focused on ILS / LSA, including various specialist departments and customers.
  • Influence system serviceability based on service strategies and customer needs.
  • Develop service, logistics, and maintenance strategies aimed at optimizing costs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design, coordinate, and prioritize logistical deliverables, including special tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and documentation.
  • Create concepts for material preservation and obsolescence management, optimizing spare parts requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate product maturity risks and implement defined measures in collaboration with internal and external engineering teams.
  • Regularly report and present the status of ILS to both internal and external stakeholders.

Willingness to travel is a requirement for this position.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed technical degree, complemented by strong business management knowledge.
  • Extensive experience as a technical project manager.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in ILS / LSA, MIL-STD-1388-2A/2B, ASD S-series specifications, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Experience in preparing service-related components for technical proposals.
  • Familiarity with military maintenance and logistics structures is advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze design and construction documents with a focus on logistical considerations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and independent work style.
  • Confident demeanor with strong persuasive abilities.
  • Proven team leadership skills and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
