Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Integrated Logistics Support (f/m/d) to join our Integrated Logistic Support & In-Service Support Optronics (ILS/ISS) department within the Customer Services division at our Oberkochen location. This department plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness of HENSOLDT products, providing essential supply and customer support throughout the product lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead projects focused on Integrated Logistics Support for optoelectronic systems utilized in military ground and aerial vehicles.
  • Oversee all initiatives aimed at establishing supply capabilities for interconnected sensor solutions.
  • Advocate for service-related matters within the integrated project team, collaborating closely with the in-service support team.
  • Provide technical leadership to interdisciplinary project teams across ILS and LSA domains.
  • Influence system serviceability based on service strategies and customer needs.
  • Develop service, logistics, and maintenance strategies while optimizing costs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design, coordinate, and prioritize logistical deliverables, including special tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and documentation.
  • Formulate material preservation and obsolescence management strategies, optimizing spare parts requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate product maturity risks and derive actionable measures in collaboration with internal and external engineering teams.
  • Provide regular and accountable reporting on ILS status to both internal and external stakeholders.

Willingness to travel is essential.

Your Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree complemented by strong business management acumen.
  • Extensive experience as a technical project manager.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in ILS/LSA, MIL-STD-1388-2A/2B, ASD S-series specifications, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Experience in preparing service-related components for technical proposals.
  • Familiarity with military maintenance and logistics structures is advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze design and construction documents concerning logistical considerations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and independent work style.
  • Confident demeanor with strong persuasive abilities.
  • Proven team leadership skills and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
