About the Role

HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH is seeking a skilled Project Manager Development to join our Ground & Naval Solutions department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing development projects for our land and sea-based products.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical sub-projects in development, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate quantity structures and budget monitoring to optimize project efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain a network of service providers to support project needs.
  • Oversee external development services, including reviews and quality assurance.
  • Participate in offer preparation and time & cost management.
  • Support internal reviews and coordinate development services with purchasing, quality, production, documentation, and logistics teams.
  • Interface with internal component and software development teams.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in technology, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in project management, preferably in an agile environment or development projects.
  • Experience working with national and international subcontractors.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Very good German and business fluent English skills.
