About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Research and Development Controlling at Fresenius Kabi. As a key member of our R&D Management Team, you will be responsible for leading the Controlling support for all R&D Centers of BU Pharma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Controlling support for all R&D Centers of BU Pharma, including US, India, Italy, and Brazil.
  • Lead the R&D Controlling Team, with a functional reporting line in Brazil.
  • Be a member of the R&D Management Team.
  • Set up and manage a consistent project controlling process for all R&D related projects.
  • Drive project prioritization based on financials and strategic fit.
  • Coordinate and drive the forecast and budget process for the whole R&D function, including projects.
  • Ensure smooth monthly closing process for all R&D Reporting units.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for R&D related questions, including M&A.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all finance topics.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance, preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical/ life science/ healthcare sector. Your profile should include:

  • A completed university degree in Business Administration, specialized in Finance.
  • A minimum of 8 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance Leadership position, ideally supporting R&D.
  • Experience within a multinational and Matrix-driven corporation, where transformation and change is not foreign to you.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • A strong comprehension and analytical skills.
  • Openness to work in a multinational/-cultural environment.
  • Business fluency in English (written & spoken), with additional languages being a plus.
