Join Our Team as a Facilities Engineering Specialist

At OSB AG, we are looking for a dedicated professional who is ready to take on the challenges of maintaining and enhancing our production facilities.

Your Role:

  • Collaborate with a team to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of production tools, machinery, and facilities.
  • Oversee the readiness of infrastructure for both current and future production needs.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including electrical systems, HVAC, and fire safety systems.
  • Ensure the effective integration of specialized equipment into building systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities for both testing and production environments.
  • Manage contracts with facility service providers.
  • Lead the establishment of a maintenance framework, including a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule and related processes.
  • Maintain and oversee spare parts and equipment inventory, ensuring regular checks.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of external suppliers, contractors, and facility service teams.
  • Identify and analyze facility-related issues to determine root causes.
  • Drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance safety and efficiency.

Your Qualifications:

  • A completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably a certified electrician with relevant electrical experience.
  • Significant experience in a Facilities Engineering role or similar, with apprenticeship experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, air supply, and fire protection.
  • Understanding of safety regulations, codes, and standards relevant to building systems.
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately while adhering to internal processes and safety regulations.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
