Join Our Team as a Facilities Operations Engineer
At OSB AG, we are looking for a dedicated professional who will:
- Collaborate with a team to ensure optimal service for production facilities and oversee maintenance activities for tools, machines, and infrastructure.
- Guarantee the readiness of infrastructure for both current and future production needs.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including electrical systems, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of specialized equipment into building systems to enhance functionality.
- Coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks for both test and production facilities.
- Manage contracts with facility service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Lead the establishment of a maintenance framework, including a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and related processes for production facilities and equipment.
- Oversee the management of spare parts and equipment storage, conducting regular inventory assessments.
- Supervise and coordinate external service providers, including suppliers and contractors.
- Identify facility-related challenges and conduct root cause analyses to address them.
- Drive and support improvement initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders to mitigate incidents.
What We Expect From You
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Certification as an electrician, along with relevant electrical work experience.
- Extensive experience in a Facilities Engineering role or a similar position (apprenticeship experience will be considered).
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical systems, HVAC, air supply, and fire protection.
- An understanding of safety regulations, codes, and standards relevant to building systems.
- The ability to perform tasks accurately in accordance with internal processes and safety regulations.
- Fluency in both English and German.
