In this role, you will be tasked with formulating and overseeing maintenance strategies, ensuring the integrity of master data within the maintenance database, and orchestrating maintenance timelines to promote the seamless operation of machinery and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Strategy Development
- Design and execute thorough maintenance strategies for machinery and facilities.
- Draft comprehensive work instructions and protocols for maintenance operations.
- Master Data Oversight
- Ensure the precision of master data in the maintenance database, encompassing equipment documentation and maintenance records.
- Maintenance Timeline Coordination
- Establish and oversee maintenance timelines to guarantee prompt execution of tasks.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance work, minimizing operational interruptions.
- Work Order Administration
- Create, prioritize, and oversee work orders for maintenance activities.
- Verify that work orders contain all requisite information and monitor their progress.
- Resource Management
- Distribute resources (technicians, tools, spare parts) to ensure effective task execution.
- Track personnel availability and modify plans as necessary.
- Documentation and Record Maintenance
- Keep meticulous records of maintenance activities and ensure documentation is accurate and readily accessible.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related discipline; alternatively, an apprenticeship or vocational training in maintenance management.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency with Maintenance Management Systems (preferably IBM Maximo) and established maintenance practices is essential.
- Familiarity with maintenance processes and systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage various tasks and priorities.
- Capability to develop and oversee detailed maintenance timelines and work orders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across departments.
- Aptitude for coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring task completion.
- Fluency in English and business-level proficiency in German.
