Position: Maintenance Planner – Contract Position
Compensation: EUR 40 per hour
Location: Munich - Onsite Role
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Company Overview:
A prominent engineering firm is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to enhance its dedicated team. In this role, you will be tasked with formulating and overseeing maintenance strategies, managing essential data within the maintenance system, and establishing maintenance timelines to guarantee the smooth and effective functioning of machinery and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Strategy Development
- Design and execute thorough maintenance strategies for machinery and facilities.
- Draft comprehensive work instructions and protocols for maintenance activities.
- Data Management
- Ensure precise data management in the maintenance database, encompassing equipment details and maintenance records.
- Scheduling
- Create and oversee maintenance schedules to facilitate prompt task execution.
- Collaborate with production teams to arrange maintenance work, minimizing operational interruptions.
- Work Order Oversight
- Generate, prioritize, and oversee work orders for maintenance tasks.
- Confirm that work orders contain all necessary details and monitor their status.
- Resource Management
- Distribute resources (technicians, tools, spare parts) to ensure successful task execution.
- Track personnel availability and modify plans as required.
- Documentation and Record Maintenance
- Keep meticulous records of maintenance activities and ensure documentation is precise and readily available.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related discipline; alternatively, an apprenticeship or vocational training in maintenance management.
- Prior experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within a manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems (preferably IBM Maximo) and maintenance best practices is essential.
- Comprehension of maintenance processes and systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Capability to develop and oversee detailed maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across departments.
- Aptitude for coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring task completion.
- Fluency in English and business-level proficiency in German.
