Job Title: Facility and Maintenance Engineer
Contract Type: 12 Month Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Adepto Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing production facilities, tools, machines, and overall infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Implement Infrastructure Projects: Develop and execute infrastructure projects, including electrical systems, HVAC, and fire protection systems, to ensure our facilities are safe and efficient.
- Ensure Seamless Equipment Integration: Coordinate the integration of specialized equipment into building systems to optimize functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and Maintain Facilities: Perform and coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities for test and production facilities to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Manage Facility Services: Contract and manage facility service companies to ensure high-quality services and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and Implement Maintenance Frameworks: Lead the integration of a maintenance framework, PPM schedule (TPM), and related processes for the production facility/equipment to ensure optimal maintenance and reduce costs.
- Manage Spare Parts and Equipment: Maintain spare part and equipment storage, including regular inventory checks, to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
- Supervise External Companies: Supervise and coordinate external companies such as suppliers, contractors, and facility services to ensure high-quality services and cost-effective solutions.
- Identify and Analyze Facility-Related Issues: Identify facility-related issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents and ensure business continuity.
- Drive Improvement Projects: Drive and support improvement projects with various stakeholders to prevent incidents and ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
Candidate Profile:
- Technical Qualifications: Completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Facilities Engineering role or similar (apprenticeship will be credited).
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of building systems, such as electrical systems, HVAC, air supply, or fire protection. Ability to evaluate technical work and understand safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to building systems.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1).
- Personal Qualities: Hands-on attitude, motivated, proactive, autonomous, and structured.
