Role Overview:
The Area Sales Manager is accountable for driving optimal revenue growth within the designated region. As an empathetic leader and strong sales coach, you will empower your team to adapt to the ever-evolving market conditions and enhance their professional development. You will report directly to the Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and implement region-specific objectives and initiatives.
  • Adopt a participative and inclusive leadership style:
    • Encourage employee autonomy and empowerment.

  • Strategic management of the region:
    • Conduct regular data analysis to inform action plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Plan and control the budget with a results-oriented approach.
  • Networking both internally and externally:
    • Establish and promote cross-functional collaboration at peer and regional levels.
    • Work closely with marketing, medical, field access, strategy, and operations teams, as well as external partners.
    • Attract and retain top talent from both internal and external sources.
  • Specific responsibilities for the business unit:
    • Overall regional responsibility for the Hematology/Oncology portfolio, including omnichannel implementation and account management.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in a scientific field or equivalent qualification as a certified pharmaceutical representative.
  • Experience with existing clients and knowledge of relevant indications.
  • Proven leadership and coaching experience.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in standard MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
