Experienced IT Transformation Project Manager for Banking

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Banking IT Transformation Project Manager to join our team at SAP Fioneer. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of major banking transformation projects in Germany and Switzerland.

About the Role:

  • Project Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to ensure successful delivery within scope and budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and internal teams to drive project success.
  • Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure timely delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address project risks to ensure smooth execution and minimize potential disruptions.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management throughout the project.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment and work closely with team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 50% within Germany and Switzerland.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in economics, business administration, finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in project management, specifically in IT transformation for banking or financial services.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in project management tools.
    • Knowledge in bank management or related areas is a plus.
    • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent Excel skills.
    • Languages: Fluent in English, German is preferred.
