In this context, we are seeking a Lean and Process Engineer (f/m/d) to be based at our offices in Berlin / Germany for a duration of 24 months.
Reporting to the Head of Field Operation Onboard, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation team through various improvement initiatives. Leveraging your previous experiences, you will assist the team in refining their processes to enhance structure and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by leading Kaizen workshops and applying Lean methodologies. Implement and track corrective actions and ongoing improvement initiatives. Analyze performance barriers, lead investigations to resolve issues, and optimize operational processes. Assess and evaluate current processes to uncover improvement opportunities. Compile and analyze evaluation results, prepare management reports, and aid in defining transformation strategies. Develop and execute action plans aimed at optimizing processes and enhancing operational efficiency.Candidate Profile:
Possessing a Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, you have gained initial experience, preferably in an international industrial setting. You have a keen interest in railway products and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong communication skills, along with diplomacy, perseverance, and open-mindedness, enable you to adapt effectively to a dynamic project environment. Your autonomy, teamwork abilities, analytical skills, and organizational capabilities are essential assets for this role. Proficiency in English and German is required; knowledge of French is advantageous. Excellent skills in MS Office applications. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in an international context and engage with diverse cultures. A customer-oriented approach with a commitment to meeting delivery timelines.Application Instructions:

Details regarding the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) program include:
- Assignments are available for citizens of European Union countries aged between 18 and 28, who have completed their military service obligations;
- A VIE assignment will take place in a country other than that of the applicant;
- Established by public sector statute in France, managed by the BusinessFrance organization;
- Assignments last from six to 24 months, with the possibility of renewal once within a cumulative limit of 24 months;
- Compensation (non-taxable) is linked to the cost of living index and determined by BusinessFrance based on the destination country;
- International social protection is extended to eligible participants; days of holiday per month.
