In this context, we are seeking a Lean and Process Engineer (f/m/d) to be based in Berlin, Germany for a duration of 24 months.

Reporting to the Head of Field Operation Onboard, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation team through various improvement initiatives. Leveraging your previous experiences, you will assist the team in modifying processes to enhance structure and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by leading Kaizen workshops and employing other Lean methodologies.
  • Implement and oversee corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Analyze performance challenges, lead investigations to resolve issues, and optimize operational workflows.
  • Assess and evaluate existing processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Compile and analyze evaluation results, prepare management reports, and assist in defining transformation strategies.
  • Develop and execute action plans aimed at optimizing processes and boosting operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a solid understanding of industrial practices, and possess initial experience in an international industrial setting.
  • You have a keen interest in railway products and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, along with diplomacy, tenacity, and open-mindedness, enable you to adapt well to a dynamic project environment.
  • Your autonomy, teamwork abilities, analytical skills, and organizational capabilities are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in English and German is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office applications.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in an international context and with diverse cultures.
  • A customer-oriented approach, dedicated to meeting delivery timelines.
