Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lean and Process Improvement Engineer to join our team in Berlin, Germany. As a key member of our Field Operation Onboard team, you will play a critical role in supporting the installation team through various improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by facilitating Kaizen workshops and other Lean methodologies.
  • Implement and monitor corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in analyses of performance obstacles, lead analysis to solve issues and optimize operations.
  • Evaluate and analyze existing processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Consolidate and analyze the results of evaluations, prepare management reports and assist in defining transformation actions.
  • Develop and implement action plans to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with a strong industrial background.
  • First-hand experience in an international industrial environment, preferably in the railway sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to integrate well into a changing project environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good level of English and German, with French being an asset.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
