OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

The primary focus of this position is to spearhead the acquisition of new business opportunities for Manhattan Associates, particularly within the German market. This independent role entails the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role encompasses the entire sales process, including:

  • Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities.
  • Coordinating and managing resources necessary for successful sales execution.
  • Adhering to corporate sales methodologies and processes.
  • Facilitating decision-making, contract negotiations, and closing sales.

This will involve:

  • Developing and executing a robust sales plan, incorporating market development and account strategies.
  • Primarily focusing on the German territory, with potential assignments outside this region.
  • Leveraging support from local experts, experienced solution consultants, and professional services teams to drive sales success.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of prospective clients' businesses to effectively communicate the value of Manhattan's offerings.
  • Analyzing competitor products and positioning to highlight Manhattan's unique advantages.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure a smooth transition from sales to post-sales implementation.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with WMS, Omni Channel, or TMS solutions.
  • Proven track record in Cloud/SaaS sales.
  • Experience in selling complex supply chain solutions.
