ROLE OVERVIEW

This position entails taking a proactive leadership role in cultivating and securing new business opportunities for Manhattan Associates, with a primary focus on the German market. The successful candidate will independently manage the development and implementation of the sales strategy.

This role offers the exciting challenge of selling our leading WMS/TMS/OMS solutions to Germany's largest retail, wholesale, and industrial clients. Our solutions are recognized as leaders in the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave, and are fully cloud-native, versionless, and extensible. They are already in use by prominent German companies both domestically and internationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will oversee the entire sales process, which includes:

Driving the formulation and execution of the sales strategy, incorporating market development and account sales tactics. Focusing primarily on the German territory, with potential assignments to accounts outside of Germany. Leveraging the support of local experts, seasoned solution consultants, and professional services teams to enhance sales efforts. Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with key stakeholders and counterparts within the organization. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of prospective clients' businesses, including their economic drivers, opportunities, and priorities, to effectively communicate the value of Manhattan's offerings. Analyzing competitor products and positioning to distinguish Manhattan's solutions. Collaborating with various departments to ensure a smooth transition post-sales and effective documentation.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proficient in both German and English. Holds a Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or possesses equivalent business experience. Has experience with WMS, Omni Channel, or TMS. Familiar with Cloud/SaaS sales. Experienced in selling complex supply chain solutions.
