Business Continuity Manager

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the crisis and emergency management efforts at TEAG Thüringer Energie, ensuring the company's business continuity and resilience in the face of disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's business continuity management (BCM) framework, ensuring compliance with national and European regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement crisis management plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the implementation of emergency response procedures, ensuring timely and effective response to crises.
- Monitor and report on the company's compliance with relevant laws and standards, including ISO 22301.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including emergency services and regulatory bodies.
- Provide expert advice on crisis management and business continuity to senior management and the board.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in a field such as business administration, emergency management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in crisis and emergency management, with a strong understanding of business continuity principles.
- Certification in business continuity management, such as ISO 22301.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
