Crisis and Emergency Management Specialist

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the crisis and emergency management efforts at TEAG Thüringer Energie, ensuring the company's business continuity and resilience in the face of disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's business continuity management (BCM) framework, ensuring compliance with national and European regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement crisis management plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the implementation of emergency response procedures, ensuring timely and effective response to crises.
- Monitor and report on the company's compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO 22301 certification.
- Represent the company's IT security department and contribute to the development of the company's IT security strategy.
Requirements
- Relevant academic background in a field related to crisis management or a related field.
- Proven experience in crisis and emergency management, with a minimum of several years of experience.
- Certification as a Business Continuity Manager (e.g., ISO 22301).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
