Position Overview:
AVOMIND is seeking a driven and self-starting Software Sales Manager to enhance our expanding team. In this role, you will strategize and implement plans to acquire and oversee accounts within the logistics and transportation sector. This position presents a thrilling opportunity to propel revenue growth while representing our top-tier SaaS offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the sales team to meet and surpass sales objectives.
  • Provide direct reports to C-level executives regarding sales forecasts, market trends, and team performance metrics.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to monitor sales progress and address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Utilize innovative approaches to identify and engage potential clients through diverse channels, playing a crucial role in customer acquisition.
  • Execute a full sales cycle for new business, consistently achieving or exceeding monthly quotas.
  • Develop and implement a thorough sales strategy for national accounts, including identifying potential clients, conducting market analysis, and crafting tailored sales presentations.
  • Conduct qualification calls with executives and department heads.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our SaaS products and effectively communicate their value to prospective clients.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to illustrate how our software solutions can benefit national account clients.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure agreements with national accounts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and product knowledge.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and product teams to refine sales strategies as new features and products are introduced.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in SaaS technology, ideally within the transportation and logistics domain.
  • Proven experience in SaaS sales, with a strong background in selling software solutions.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
  • Familiarity with the complexities of the transport and logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines and accurately forecast results.
  • Goal-oriented with a history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Strong results-driven mindset, resilience in challenging sales situations, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Experience engaging with executive-level decision-makers.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for both in-person and virtual audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and cultures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • Legally authorized to work in Germany.
