Your Role: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth strategy in the PCR/TBR and Retail tyre sectors within Germany. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, developing strategic business plans, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture new customer relationships while maintaining existing partnerships within the German tyre industry (B2B).
  • Craft and execute comprehensive business plans that align with Sailun's strategic objectives and contribute to the success of our valued customers.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to develop accurate sales forecasts and demand planning requirements, ensuring seamless coordination with our supply chain and manufacturing operations.
  • Build enduring strategic relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations, including business owners, management teams, department heads, and team members. Act as a trusted advisor, actively participating in joint business planning initiatives and value creation activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to both existing and prospective customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of Sailun's tyre solutions.
  • Communicate pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product updates to customers, ensuring transparency and alignment with market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with our team in China HQ to coordinate product development, testing, marketing, and promotional plans that meet evolving customer demands. This includes identifying opportunities for product range expansion or the introduction of new brands and products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience within the tyre industry, demonstrating a consistent track record of success.
  • Residency in Germany and willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
